Legal Lessons for Young Entrepreneurs at Deck, Baron, and Provost

Kankakee County CEO students visited Deck, Baron, and Provost Law Firm this week to learn about the legal considerations involved in starting a business and met attorney and partner Dave Baron.

Dave Baron delivered an engaging presentation featuring real cases and practical examples. CEO students learned about different legal structures for businesses, such as Sole Proprietorship, LLC, and corporations. He also asked students to share their personal business ventures and offered suggestions tailored to each of them, including guidance on contracts, business structures, and legal protections to consider as young entrepreneurs.
