Real Business. Real Feedback. CEO Students Present to the Board of Directors
What makes the Kankakee County CEO Program unique is that students don’t just learn about business- they build and run real ones.
This semester, the students are developing a class business venture before launching their own individual businesses next spring. Through this process, they’re learning to write business plans, understand profit and loss, estimate expenses, and generate revenue—skills that will serve them well in any career.
For their class business project, the CEO team is planning a fun family event in January. This morning, they presented their plan to the CEO Board of Directors, who asked thoughtful questions and provided valuable feedback for the team to refine their ideas.
Stay tuned in the coming weeks for more details about this exciting student-led event!
