Behind the Scenes with Chef Marc Magiera: From the Kitchen to the Boardroom
Today, Kankakee County CEO had the privilege of meeting with Chef Marc Magiera, who generously shared his professional journey in the culinary world. His experience spans fine dining, corporate food service, and serving as a Chef Instructor at Kendall College.
Chef Marc currently serves as the Food Service Director at Peddinghaus Corporation, where he prepares meals daily for employees, special meetings, and more. From catering small-scale meetings to events with up to 500 guests, Marc and his team run a professional kitchen that delivers food designed to impress.
He shared valuable insights from his career, with a strong focus on achieving work-life balance and finding a path that allows you to enjoy life while pursuing your professional goals.
