Kankakee County CEO visited @Piggush Engineering, Inc for an insightful conversation and tour led by Neil Piggush and Mike Gall. Founded by Neil and Mike in 2013, this Kankakee-based firm serves communities throughout Illinois and Northwest Indiana through civil engineering, site development, and infrastructure design.

Students explored the importance of civil engineering, the variety of careers connected to the field, and its role in shaping civilizations from ancient times to today. The visit helped connect the roads, water systems, and infrastructure we rely on every day to the planning, creativity, and problem-solving behind them.

We also gained an appreciation for how Neil, Mike, and their team are helping shape our own community right here in Kankakee County. Their work supports local development, protects natural resources, and helps make our community a better place to live and work.
