We’re off to a great start with the Kankakee County CEO Class of 2026–27 with students from Bishop McNamara Catholic School, Herscher Community Unit School District #2, and Kankakee School District 111.

Our first couple of days have been focused on getting to know each other, building professional skills, and setting the tone for the year ahead.

CEO takes learning beyond the classroom by connecting students directly with local businesses, entrepreneurs, and community leaders. Throughout the year, students will visit businesses, learn from guest speakers, develop professional skills, work with mentors, and ultimately create and launch businesses of their own.

We’re excited for a year of new experiences, connections, challenges, and opportunities for these young entrepreneurs!
